Scorpus Unified Governance framework (SUG) - Scorpus Repository augmented in order to unify the complete knowledge creation, recovery and retention flow, integrates with various software development and management knowledge sources used within the organization. These knowledge sources or repository are very specific to their function (as they come from various vendors) and do not extend to trace and relate the entire set of knowledge artifacts during the creation to consumption cycle. Further the organizations need a governance model that is driven by set rules and policies to cover the complete creation to consumption cycle.

Scorpus integrates with all such knowledge sources to act as a master repository with policy driven governance capability. Scorpus will help create and qualify assets by aggregating all the artifacts into the asset for completing the asset in reuse and variable form. The capability to model and define the rules will help govern in the application development and the asset creation and variations itself.

Scorpus SOA governance repository (SOAR) - this is an advanced version of Scorpus Unified Governance Framework with capability to fit into the SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) development (design time), deployment and run time environment.
The end-user companies will require a governance system that helps manage SOA assets (Services, and associated artifacts) through the creations, consumption and change lifecycle.

Scorpus is specifically designed to fit in to the business driven service creation and help manage them as assets through the creation, consumption, deploy and variation cycle. Scorpus integrates with the service development and the service run time technology stack. Each service is related to the specific business context, business processes and engineering artifacts which help asses the impact of change and bridge the gap between the IT team and the business stakeholders.

Scorpus Enterprise version can scale up to large enterprise needs, such as:
Integrate with the existing engineering and maintenance environment including the, requirements management, design tools or modelers, IDE’s, Test tools and managers.

Integration to SOA infrastructure the Business Process Management System, Enterprise Service Bus, UDDI registries, etc.

Change impact area notification to stakeholders in a fully interrelated scenario. The assets can be of any type, like the business process models, components and Services along with their artifacts. Change to one of them as an asset will require impact area notification to the various stakeholders.

Provides visualization into the assets, interrelationship, and the impact of change.

Various assets can be brought together to form a solution framework which itself is an assembly of assets.

There could be a lot of legacy sources, which needs to be captured as assets and the miner facility can help speed up the process.

The organizational delivery model and processes can be created to govern the asset creation, shipping, and usage.
